As is common in many Seattle homes, the client loved the charming proportions of this 1933 brick bungalow but struggled to make the interior layout work for modern living. We reconfigured the main level to allow for a kitchen, mud room, family room arrangement that worked within the confines of the existing footprint. In order to marry modern living with classic Seattle charm, finely crafted custom cabinetry was detailed to provide the function the client needed with the warmth and attention to detail common in older Seattle homes. The result is an inviting and more spacious kitchen, den and mudroom that feel like they could be original to the home.
